Ingredients
1 lb chicken cutlets
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
½ cup almond flour
1 large egg
2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, mix parmesan cheese, almond flour, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg.
- Dip each chicken cutlet into the egg, letting excess drip off.
- Press the chicken into the parmesan mixture, coating evenly on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place chicken in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes without moving it.
- Flip carefully once the crust is golden and cook another 2–3 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Notes
- For best results, use thin chicken cutlets to ensure even cooking.
- Avoid moving the chicken while it cooks—this helps the crust stay intact and become crispy.
- If your pan is overcrowded, cook in batches to maintain proper heat.
- You can bake the chicken at 400°F (200°C) for about 15–18 minutes as an alternative to frying.
