Ingredients

1 lb chicken cutlets

2 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

½ cup almond flour

1 large egg

2 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix parmesan cheese, almond flour, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the egg.
  3. Dip each chicken cutlet into the egg, letting excess drip off.
  4. Press the chicken into the parmesan mixture, coating evenly on both sides.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Place chicken in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes without moving it.
  7. Flip carefully once the crust is golden and cook another 2–3 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  8. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results, use thin chicken cutlets to ensure even cooking.
  • Avoid moving the chicken while it cooks—this helps the crust stay intact and become crispy.
  • If your pan is overcrowded, cook in batches to maintain proper heat.
  • You can bake the chicken at 400°F (200°C) for about 15–18 minutes as an alternative to frying.
