Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
3 tablespoons honey
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar (optional)
1 tablespoon sesame oil (or olive oil)
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (or fresh grated ginger)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for topping)
Instructions
1. Cook the Turkey
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the oil, then add the ground turkey. Break it apart with a spoon and cook until fully browned with no pink remaining (about 6–7 minutes).
2. Add Garlic and Ginger
Stir in the minced garlic and ginger. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Pour the sauce into the skillet over the turkey.
4. Simmer
Stir well and let the mixture simmer for 3–4 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the turkey evenly. Adjust flavor if needed.
5. Finish and Serve
Remove from heat. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps.
