Description

These Soft & Fluffy No-Yeast Gluten Free Pretzel Bites are the ultimate easy snack — made without yeast, eggs (in the dough), or special equipment! Perfectly golden on the outside and soft on the inside, they come together in under 40 minutes and are a hit for parties, game nights, or cozy weekends at home. Serve them with a creamy white cheddar dip or your favorite mustard!

Ingredients

For the Pretzel Bites:

1 cup plain Greek-style yogurt (dairy or dairy-free)

3 tbsp melted butter or ghee

2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

1 ¼ cup gluten free 1:1 baking flour (Cup4Cup or Bob’s Red Mill 1-to-1 recommended)

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp fine sea salt

For Topping:

1 egg, whisked (for egg wash)

Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix wet ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt, melted butter, and honey until smooth.

  3. Add dry ingredients. Fold in the gluten free flour, baking powder, and sea salt using a sturdy spatula. Stir until a dough forms — it should be slightly tacky but not sticky.

  4. Shape the dough. Lightly flour your work surface, then divide the dough into 5 equal portions. Roll each piece into a 6-inch log (about ¾-inch thick).

  5. Cut into bites. Use a sharp knife or pastry cutter to slice each log into 1-inch bite-sized pieces.

  6. Brush & season. Arrange the bites on the prepared baking sheet, brush each one with the whisked egg, and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

  7. Bake. Transfer to the oven and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  8. Cool & serve. Let cool for about 5 minutes, then enjoy warm with cheese dip or mustard!

Notes

  • For the best texture, use a Greek-style yogurt that’s thick (not runny).
  • Make sure your baking powder is fresh for proper rise.
  • If dough feels sticky, dust lightly with extra flour — but avoid overmixing.
  • Pretzel bites are best eaten warm but can be reheated in an air fryer or oven to restore crispness.
  • To freeze: bake, cool, then store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
