Ingredients
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
16 ounces ground beef
1/2 medium onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
4 ounces cream cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté ground beef, onion, and bell pepper until meat is fully browned and vegetables are softened. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until cream cheese is fully melted and evenly coats the filling.
- On a parchment-lined baking sheet, arrange shredded Monterey Jack cheese into 8 even circles. Bake 8–10 minutes until edges brown and cheese forms a lace pattern.
- Let cheese circles cool slightly. While still pliable, add a portion of filling to each circle. Carefully roll the cheese around the filling and allow it to firm up before serving.
Notes
- Cheese wraps are easier to roll when slightly warm.
- Customize the filling with mushrooms, spinach, or jalapeños.
- Store filling separately for meal prep to keep rolls fresh.
- Perfect as a main dish, lunch, snack, or appetizer.
