Ingredients

200g gluten-free self-raising flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tbsp caster sugar (for dough)

180g full-fat Greek yogurt

30g unsalted butter, melted (for brushing)

1 tsp ground cinnamon

3 tbsp caster sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, baking powder, and 1 tbsp caster sugar. Stir well.

  2. Add the Greek yogurt and mix with a wooden spoon until it comes together.

  3. Knead the dough gently with your hands until smooth. If the dough is sticky, add a small amount of extra flour.

  4. Divide the dough into 10 equal portions and roll each into a ball.

  5. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F). Place the doughnut holes inside and cook for 8 minutes, or until lightly golden.

  6. While still warm, brush each doughnut hole with melted butter.

  7. Mix 3 tbsp caster sugar with 1 tsp cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll the buttered doughnut holes in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.

  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Flour substitution: If you only have plain gluten-free flour, add 2 tsp baking powder and ¼ tsp xanthan gum.
  • Serving suggestion: Serve warm for best flavor and texture.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the air fryer or oven before serving.
  • Customization: For a chocolate twist, add mini chocolate chips to the dough before cooking.
