Ingredients
2 medium sweet potatoes, cut into wedges
1 ½ tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
2 teaspoons nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley or cilantro, finely chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes. - Prepare the Wedges
Place the sweet potato wedges in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with nutritional yeast, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. - Coat Evenly
Toss gently until all wedges are evenly coated with oil and seasoning. - Arrange in Basket
Spread the wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping them to allow proper air circulation. Cook in batches if necessary. - Air Fry
Cook at 375°F for 10 minutes. Check for doneness. The wedges should be fork-tender inside and crispy along the edges.
If needed, continue cooking for an additional 2–5 minutes until perfectly crisp. - Finish and Serve
Taste and adjust salt if needed. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro and serve immediately while hot.
