Ingredients

2 medium sweet potatoes, cut into wedges

1 ½ tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil

2 teaspoons nutritional yeast

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley or cilantro, finely chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer
    Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Wedges
    Place the sweet potato wedges in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with nutritional yeast, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat Evenly
    Toss gently until all wedges are evenly coated with oil and seasoning.
  4. Arrange in Basket
    Spread the wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping them to allow proper air circulation. Cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Air Fry
    Cook at 375°F for 10 minutes. Check for doneness. The wedges should be fork-tender inside and crispy along the edges.
    If needed, continue cooking for an additional 2–5 minutes until perfectly crisp.
  6. Finish and Serve
    Taste and adjust salt if needed. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro and serve immediately while hot.
