Ingredients
2 cups frozen strawberries, plus extra fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)
½ frozen banana (use 1 banana for a stronger flavor or thicker smoothie)
½ cup whole milk Greek yogurt
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the frozen strawberries, banana, Greek yogurt, milk, honey or maple syrup, and lemon juice.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Add more milk as needed to reach desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon juice if needed.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with fresh strawberries, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the consistency: Add more milk for a thinner smoothie or more frozen fruit for a thicker, frostier texture.
- No ice required: Frozen fruit makes the smoothie cold and creamy without diluting the flavor.
- Make it vegan/dairy-free: Use plant-based yogurt and milk. Use a whole frozen banana instead of half if skipping yogurt.
