Ingredients
For the ranch seasoning:
1 tbsp parsley
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp chives
½ tsp dill
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
For the casserole:
Avocado oil spray
2 tbsp butter
4 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
2 cups shredded cheese, divided
2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
2 cups cooked broccoli
6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled, divided
Instructions
- Ranch seasoning: Mix all seasoning ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- Preheat oven: 350°F (175°C). Spray 13×9 inch pan with avocado oil.
- Make the sauce: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cream cheese, sour cream, heavy cream, chicken broth, and ranch seasoning. Stir until smooth. Add 1 cup shredded cheese and stir to melt.
- Layer casserole: Chicken first, then broccoli, then bacon (reserve 2 tbsp). Pour sauce over layers. Top with remaining 1 cup cheese and reserved bacon.
- Bake: 25–30 minutes, uncovered, until heated through.
- Serve: Let rest 5 minutes, then enjoy.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle paprika or smoked paprika over the top before baking.
- Frozen broccoli works fine; just thaw and drain before adding.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- This casserole can be doubled to feed a larger group or for freezing.
