Ingredients
2 ½ cups water
3 tsp whole cloves
1 black tea bag (or rooibos/hibiscus for caffeine-free option)
1 tbsp honey (or to taste)
1 slice lemon (optional)
Instructions

Boil Water: Bring 2 ½ cups of water to a boil in a small pot.

Steep Tea: Add 3 teaspoons of whole cloves and 1 black tea bag to a teapot or heatproof container. Carefully pour the boiling water over the cloves and tea bag. Steep for 5–10 minutes depending on desired strength.

Serve: Pour the tea into a cup. Stir in honey to taste and add a slice of lemon if desired. Enjoy warm or chill for iced tea.
